  • The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed referees from two French speaking countries to officiate the Scorpions double header against Gabon.

  • The Gambia will return to action in the Total Africa Cup of Nations qualifying duties in November, after a long hiatus due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Tom Saintfiet’s charges will face Patrice Neveu’s Panthers at the Stade de la Rénovation de Franceville on 12 November at 19:00 GMT.

A CAF communique seen by this reporter confirmed the appointment of a panel of Togolese match officials for the match in Franceville.

The Scorpions Match day four has now been scheduled for 16 November at 16:00 GMT and it will be officiated by a panel of Burundian officials.

Pacifique NDABIHAWENIMANA gets the nod as central referee with support from first assistant Gustave Baguma and second assistant Emery NIYONGABO while Thierry NKURUNZIZA serves as reserve referee.
